Developers and contributors

Developers

Developers are community members who participate in the technical discussions and decision making process through the project communication tools. Developers have contributed code to the project in accordance with our Contribution Policy.
Developers recognized by the Membership Committee have the right to vote in the community elections and they nominate one representative in the Technical Committee.

Contributors

Contributors are community members than make contributions of any kind to the project, without necessarily having any authority or a formal role in the decision making process of the community. Contributors can participate on the discussions and decision making process through the project communication tools. All Contributors recognized by the membership committee have the right to vote in the community elections.

Users

Users are Sentilo community members who have downloaded the code and deployed it. Any individual, organisation or city can be a Sentilo user without further requirements. The Sentilo community doesn't demand anything in exchange. We wish, of course, users to be intensively involved in the project and became Contributors by providing feedback, improvement proposals, support to other users in the mailing list or forums and helping to disseminate the project. Users have no right to vote in the community elections unless they become Contributors, Sponsors, Partners or are appointed to a Committee.
